Topless Kate Upton swept off rock by huge wave during photoshoot

We can’t imagine she felt too good though after taking a heavy tumble like this, especially when she was trying to maintain her modesty! The gorgeous 25-year-old model, was in the middle of shooting her fourth cover for Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue when the unthinkable happened.

Kate was stood atop a jagged rock on a beach in the picturesque island of Aruba when nature took control. She was hit with a few small warning waves before one bigger one finally crashed into the rock and swept her feet out from under her.

Despite the best efforts of the Sports Illustrated people around her to help break her fall, the topless star took a backward tumble from the rock and into the shallow sea below.

Many superstars in her situation would have taken the whole thing badly and walked off set, but Kate was a trooper about the whole thing. She explained: ‘I really saw the vision for the photo, but as I climbed on the rock I did look down and was like “this is going to end badly”.

When she emerged from the water she couldn’t help but laugh and she said: ‘I felt like I was laughing in the face of [email protected] ‘Looking back, that probably should have been a moment when we photoshopped me on there, but we didn’t because we never do that!’ She certainly acted like a pro in this situation!
