Sylvester Stallone’s routine to stay in shape at 76 years of age
Being strong and having impressive muscles is almost a requirement in the action movie universe, but if there is one figure who has represented this premise for almost 50 years, it is Sylvester Stallone. He first played the unforgettable Rocky Balboa in 1976 and since then, the actor has remained in top form and, at 76, still looks spectacular. In order to continue with his career, in which he has several projects soon to be released, such as ‘The Expendables 4’, Sylvester Stallone shared on his Instagram profile a video in which he was walking with his dog and revealed his morning routine, to which he had added his walks with his rottweiler.
“I usually get up, stretch, maybe have a protein shake and then work out, but I found a new method of exercise and it helps you walk!” the American actor wrote on his profile. Specifically, he expressed that his pet ‘forces’ him to maintain a rhythm and routine that keeps him active throughout and, therefore, is essential to keep looking good in front of the cameras.
Controversy over the Drago spin-off
Recently, Stallone was involved in a controversy after harshly criticising the producers of ‘Rocky’, who want to record a spin-off about one of the most iconic characters of the saga, Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who kills Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) and is defeated by Rocky Balboa later in a fight in the USSR. Stallone posted a blunt message on Instagram, which he later deleted, in which he called the news “heartbreaking”.
“ONCE AGAIN, this PATHETIC 94-YEAR-OLD PRODUCER and HIS DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB SUIT CHILDREN, Charles and David, are once again milking another wonderful character I created to the bone without even telling me,” said the performer, who called the producers “parasites”.
