Fitness star makes a splash in a crochet ʙικιɴι – and celebs love sɛxy trend

Fitness star Tammy Hembrow often shows off her ripped physique by wearing ʙικιɴι. And the swimwear she wore in her latest Instagram snap certainly did just that.

The Australian influencer posed in a lime green two-piece with a crocheted bear design, which she styled by applying natural makeup and giving her hair beach waves. She struck various poses to show off the results of her grueling exercise regime.

And in the caption, Tammy added that her body is “gym built”. Pictures of the star garnered more than 351,000 likes on Instagram – and many couldn’t get enough of the outfit. A third wrote: “That swimming suit! Where can I get it?” And a fourth added: “Cute ʙικιɴι!”

Crocheted swimwear has been making a splash on Instagram in recent years. Previously, the Daily Star caught up with a swimwear designer to talk about the trend. Victoria James, who founded a ʙικιɴι company called Crochini, can’t get enough of the knitted material.

She told us: “Crochet is a really big trend right now and I wanted to create something that was really unique and good quality “They’re the kind of ʙικιɴι you notice straight away as they stand out and ooze fun and confidence.

“They suit a young demographic who has a flirty, attitude-daring nature, and the price point and vibrant colors resemble this. Meanwhile, TOWIE star Yazmin Oukellou and Ex On The Beach’s Jess Impiazzi have sported Crochini clothing.
